Kenya is a big country with a remarkaable market and there are a lot of opportunities one can take advantage of to make money. I'm talking about small businesses one can start up in Kenya.

This post is more like a question and I'd like to get your opinion of what kinds of small business one can start in Kenya without having too much capital.

I would like people to share their views and ideas in listing out such businesses and I know there are quite a lot from hairdressing to tutorial centers.

There are lots of people who know what business to start up if they have the right capital but they just don't have a start up capital. I think their ideas count for something.

Small businesses are what help an economy to grow and they have the advantage of lowering risks while at the same time teaching people from experience how to do business moderately and profitably. At times, when someone starts a new business with a huge capital, he many end up losing the capital due to lack of experience of excessive spending.

What business do you do in Kenya? What small business do you see others doing and yet succeeding at it? These small businesses are what help a lot of people escape the poverty line and we should help people with out ideas.
