If you've got a website, you can really make some good money from it in Kenya. There are actually a lot of Kenyans on the internet but only very few do have a website and even some of those who do are not yet making any money from their websites. How does one get a website in the first place? Well first of all you just need to purchase your own domain name and then host it on a site after which your website will be online.How do websites make money?
Can websites really make money? Well if websites could not make money, we would not be hearing of success stories like Yahoo or Facebook. These are large internet sites that mostly exist on the internet and make the bulk of their money from the internet. They are internet companies first and foremost and they make most of their money by selling virtual items.Let's take a look at Google for instance. Google makes the bulk of it's money not from offering free Gmail accounts or free web search, rather from selling online adverts. These are adverts that earn income for them based on clicks and impressions. Yahoo also makes money from adverts and other online services like web hosting and domain names.Top ways Kenyans can make money with their websites
If you are in Kenya and want to make money from your website, here are some ways I know is already working for a lot of people:- Content publishing with PPCs and CPMs
- Selling eBooks and other digital items
- Content publishing with Affiliate marketing
- Selling online services like article writing, web design, tutorials and so on.
