My first 130 USD payment from Bluehost

Hi, just want to share with you my recent payment from Bluehost. I would have uploaded a picture but it's basically an email notification from Bluehost informing me of my payment via Paypal. I've also confirmed the payment by logging into my Paypal account.

Well, this is basically my first payment from Bluehost ever as I've been able to refer web hosting clients that stayed with them for at least 90 days. They've sent me the sum of $130 as my commission for 2 solid referrals.

If you ask me who my best paying affiliate programs are right now, I'd say it is Amazon and then Bluehost. I don't make much from affiliate marketing since I've not focused fully into it. I'm more into internet publishing and my major source of revenue is pay per click ads.

To make money from Bluehost, one must first need to have a website or blog, have traffic and then sign up for an affiliate account with them. It would be wise to be in the web hosting affiliate niche or at least attract a lot of webmasters and potential website owners if you want to be a successful Bluehost affiliate. They pay a whooping $65 per referral.

For now, I've been able to make at least 2 solid referrals but I still have others that are signed up but have not stayed up to the required minimum period for which I'd be credited with a commission.

It can be hard making money with web hosting affiliate programs unlike PPC advertising since you earn income immediately for traffic you send. With affiliate marketing however, one has to wait until your referral actually buys something from the merchant.

Well, now that I've got paid, it is a sort of motivation to keep working harder to get more referrals. It would probably be enough to offset the bill for my web hosting service but it's worth it.

What is do is web hosting affiliate marketing and not hosting service. I market hosting service to people and earn a commission
